Terms of Service for Vivida Frame
Effective date: November 6, 2026
Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Lmedo Labs, LLC (“we”, “us”) for the Vivida Frame Android app (package com.vivida.frame, distributed through Google Play). Vivida Frame turns an Android tablet or phone (Android 7.0 and up) into a dedicated digital photo frame, playing slideshows from the on-device gallery or from cloud folders you connect (Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive), with display effects, scheduling, and an optional clock-and-weather sidebar.
By installing, purchasing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the app only with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
License
Subject to these Terms and your purchase of the app on Google Play, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Vivida Frame on Android devices associated with your Google Play account, for your personal, non-commercial use. This license does not transfer any ownership in the app to you. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or by applicable law that cannot be waived by contract.
Purchase and refunds
Vivida Frame is sold as a one-time purchase with no subscription. Payment is processed entirely by Google Play; prices, taxes, and payment methods are determined by Google Play. We do not see or store your payment details. Refunds are governed by Google Play's refund policies and handled through Google Play support.
Your content
You retain all rights to the photos and folders you display with the app. The app processes your photos locally on your device (and, when you connect a cloud provider, fetches them directly from that provider) — see the Privacy Policy for details. You are responsible for having the rights to display the photos you play on the frame, including any necessary permissions from the people pictured or the copyright holders. Do not display content you have no right to use, or content that is unlawful.
Acceptable use
- Do not misuse the app, interfere with its normal operation, or attempt to access other users' data or accounts.
- Do not use the app in violation of any applicable law or the terms of any third-party service you connect.
- Do not circumvent purchase, licensing, or access controls.
Third-party services
When you use the corresponding features, the app communicates directly with third-party providers: Google (Drive sign-in and file access; Google Play billing), Dropbox (file access), Microsoft (OneDrive file access), and Open-Meteo (weather forecasts). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for their services, content, or availability.
Updates and compatibility
We may release updates that add, change, or remove features. The app requires Android 7.0 or later; we do not guarantee compatibility with every device or with future Android versions. Features that depend on third-party providers (cloud photo sources, weather) may change or stop working if those providers change their services.
Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it, which removes the app's on-device data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may terminate or suspend your license if you materially violate these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) survive termination.
Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of defects, or that your photos will always display without interruption (for example during network outages or provider service changes).
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lmedo Labs, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the app. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the app is limited to the amount you paid for the app license. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Lmedo Labs, LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where consumer-protection law in your place of residence requires otherwise.
Changes to these Terms
If we change these Terms, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date above. Continued use of the app after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
